Luton Borough Council's dog wardens regularly attend local schools to provide educational presentations.
The presentations are about 45 minutes long, or to suit your requirements. The dog wardens will discuss various aspects of responsible dog ownership. This includes cleaning up after your dog, identification on your dog, what happens if you lose your dog, how to react around a stray dog, and what to do with a stray dog.
They will also discuss why Luton has dog wardens, demonstrate some of their equipment, and explain why it is necessary.
When possible, the talk will also include a visit from one of the dog wardens own dogs. This is often the highlight of the presentation - especially for younger members of the community. The dog may attend for the last 15 minutes.
The wardens will then encourage a question-and-answer session regarding any aspect of dog ownership.
